A patio is only as good as what is under it. We strip the area, lay geotextile where the soil needs it, place and compact gravel base in lifts, screed the bedding layer and set the pavers with a slight slope away from the house.

Usually the base was too thin or not compacted in layers. We build the base in compacted lifts to prevent settling.
Can you build a patio on a slope?
Gentle slopes can be levelled with base material. Steep slopes may need retaining work, which we do not offer at this time.
